Animal kingdom provided a welcome break from the high powered, white knuckle roller coasters of previous days. Luke watched a YouTube video of Expedition Everest, a runaway mine train type ride with high speed forwards and backwards sections. Before leaving in the morning we had booked three fast passes on the Disney Experience App / website. The safari, Expedition Everest and Lion King Show. As we arrived early to the park, our plans of the previous night having worked out well, we queued for the safari without fast pass and only waited 15 minutes. We decided to swap our safari fast pass, for the Dinosaur ride.
The Kilimanjaro Safari was great and the vast space the safari took up proved just how rubbish the safari ride at Chessington actually is. The giraffes decided to stand in the road and weren’t going to budge. So we stopped and waited which gave Luke and Matty lots of opportunities for photos with their cameras.
We all enjoyed the safari and other aninsls very much. Although there was one roller coaster, it was a slower day which we all enjoyed. In the evening we returned to wallmart to top up our essentials and ended up buying a hot pizza to go! Despite Liz writing a shopping list a few other things ended up in our trolley, aparently this is why I don’t go shopping on a weekly basis!
