Our day started in the usual way. After breakfast, the ladies walked to the water park, Tim relaxed in his room and your scribe walked around the coast path (not wanting to partake in the water park adventure). My route took me around a 4 hour circuit, covering many small bays and secluded beaches.

Some of the small beaches I discovered on my walk.

One of the many sets of stairs I had to descend and climb down to/back from the beach.
The ladies had lots of fun at the water park, which wasn’t too busy, enabling them to enjoy many rides in quick succession.

(This video is very fast because it was recorded as a Timelapse video, so please don’t adjust your TV set – lol)
We all managed to eat lunch at the hotel, between 1pm and 3pm, although not as a group of four. Our afternoon paddle was cut short due to thunder and lightning. It only took one clap of thunder to clear the beach like a giant dinner gong and to solicit a large squeal from all the female sun worshippers in the area. Once we’d got back to the hotel, we congregated in the pool bar for a few drinks. Although there was a significant breeze, it didn’t take long for the clouds to give way to some sun and the temperature to begin to rise again. Overall it was a very pleasant afternoon despite the breeze and brief rain shower because it wasn’t as sticky.
Sitting beside the pool bar we played a pub quiz card game, until the pool bar closed at 6pm and we decamped to the lounge bar. After our evening meal we left Tim relaxing on the sofas in reception and walked down to the beach for an early evening paddle. The water was cool on our feet, but not cold. Along the end of the beach where there were some beach volleyball nets it was very busy. But everywhere else it was pretty quiet.
After our walk, we returned to the hotel to join Tim on the reception sofas before climbing the stairs back to our room for a coffee.
Good night!
